I have always liked the look of the white resist with water color,
but I wasn’t sure how to achieve the look.
and, boy, is it easy!
With a few simple supplies,
and a little bit of time,
you, too, can be playing with water colors!
The supplies you will need are
watercolors (these are a cheap set from Micheals),
a versamark pad,
white embossing powder,
white card stock,
a heat gun (I forgot mine in the picture),
and the stamp of your choice!
First, use the versamark pad to stamp on the white card stock.
Coat image with white embossing powder and then heat.
Next, with a slightly damp brush,
cover the image with water color of your choice.
I have found that it is better to go lighter with color and add more
as you want rather than try to take it away.
Feel free to experiment with your color choice and let me know what you make,
I’d love to see your creations!
