How are things going with your habit tracker? With your year of “Bee-ing Creative”?
I admit, I haven’t hit my every day goal.
Now, I am struggling with this, I am a recovering perfectionist, and to have a blank spot (ok, two) on my tracker is a challenge. They are like two beacons calling out to me, lighting the way to my failures. BUT, grace. I’m pretty good at giving grace to the stranger that cuts me off or the the grocery clerk who is short and snarky. I am even ok at giving grace to my hubby and kids (there is certainly room for improvement, but over all, I think I am doing ok…). But, myself well, that’s a whole other story. But, this is a year of changes and my word is courage, so I am embracing this whole grace thing… and finding the courage to give it to myself.
Now, what in the world does that have to do with a mood tracker? Well, probably not much, but my brain is a bit of a jumble and sometimes when you start down one path, you never know where you are going to end up! BUT, part of the reason for my missing two days was because I was sick, I mean, big time, staph infection sick… oh, and there was home school and house prep while all this was going on. After about 48 hours on antibiotics, my hubby and kids both said (at separate times) that is was like they had their old Molly back. (ok, truth, hubby said wife and kids said mom, but you get the idea! LOL) Any way, I know I couldn’t have prevented the infection, or the chaos that came with it, but, I may have been a bit more aware of it and not dismissed it as PMS or fatigue if I had been paying more attention to myself. Enter the mood tracker. I am going to try, for the month of February to follow along with my moods and see if I can learn a bit more about myself! In case y’all want to join in on this journey of discovery, you can download your mood tracker here!
Now, I admit, the photography isn’t the best… life, house on the market being the biggest challenge right now… that means it has to be ready to show at a moment’s notice, which means a clean creative space (please tell me your inner creative just groaned like mine did!) but I promise, if you click on the link, it will look much better and can be printed at home or at your local print store.
